The practice of comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry is both a science and an art.  Dr. Michael Spadafora combines his years of study and experience, with the latest technology, to provide his patients with the very best treatment.  Dr. Spadafora relies on his technical expertise while drawing upon his skill and “eye” for cosmetic results.

For many years Dr. Spadafora has utilized an intra-oral camera and digital radiography.  The intra-oral camera enables the patient to see a photo of any problems that are developing in his mouth.  This technology has been very effective in highlighting dental issues and securing insurance coverage for the patient.   Digital radiography minimizes the radiation to the patient, while allowing the patient to see in a large x-ray any cavities or other oral issues. These two systems ensure that you will see and understand any problems that are developing in your mouth.

Explained here are some, but not all, of the common procedures done in our general dentistry practice. If you are interested in a specific cosmetic procedure (bleaching, for example) or have a cosmetic question or issue, you are invited to schedule a complimentary cosmetic evaluation and consultation.

Continuing Care

A dedication to continuing care, with regular check-ups and teeth cleanings, ensures that your beautiful smile stays that way. These regular appointments help us identify potential issues before they become problems. We find that when our patients invest in comprehensive dental care, and maintain the results through regular continuing care visits, they have far fewer problems in the future. Comprehensive dentistry becomes a very good value for the budget minded patient.

We will ask you to reserve your next appointment, usually 6 months in advance, at the end of your hygiene appointment. This allows you to select the time and day that works best for your schedule. It also allows us to monitor your dental health and follow up on any treatment needs. We know that patients who adhere to a continuing care schedule have very few emergencies as we are able to identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems

Emergencies

If you are in pain, or have an issue that is causing you discomfort now, we will see you as soon as possible to alleviate that problem. We ask that you call early in the day so that we can see you on the same day. The treatment in an emergency situation is usually a temporary fix, designed to get you out of pain and reduce swelling. We can be reached through our 24 hour answering service, where you will always talk to “real” people.
